Add a client / OT

After login, the launcher shows stage 2 Client: the list of Tibia clients you play with. The bot reads items and outfits from that client's assets folder, which is why each OT goes in as its own client in the list.

Supported versions#

DrenoxBot works with the official Tibia client (Qt) from version 15.23 on. The launcher reads the version from the client's package.json file and shows it next to the name.

VersionStatus
15.23Supported (minimum version)
15.30Supported
Newer than 15.23Should work; the setup detects the version by itself
Older than 15.23 or not detectedShown in amber with unsupported: request support

OTs that use the CipSoft client work the same way, with the 15.23 and 15.30 clients detected on their own. Play on RubinOT? Support arrives with Pro Max in 2027; see the bot for RubinOT.

Add a client#

The first time, the launcher already looks for clients on your PC: folders with package.json, assets and bin up to three levels inside %LOCALAPPDATA%. That is where most OT launchers install the game. If yours did not show up, add it by hand.

1
Click Add...

The Windows file picker opens.

2
Pick the client's .exe

It can be the OT's launcher or the game's executable. DrenoxBot finds the game folder by itself, the one with assets, including the packages\Tibia layout.

3
Check name and version

The client joins the list with its icon, folder name and version. The name is selected so you can change it, for example to the OT's name.

If you see No Tibia client there, the file you picked does not belong to an install with an assets folder. Pick the .exe inside the game folder.

  • Remove takes the client off the list (it deletes nothing from disk).
  • The launcher remembers the last client used and selects it next time.

What Start bot does#

When you click Start bot, the launcher prepares the client so the bot can work. It does this every time, because the OT's updater may put the original files back. It keeps a copy of whatever it changes and restores it when you remove the bot.

When you log in, you type your Tibia account password again. That is expected.

Request support for a version or OT#

Playing on an older version, or a specific OT gives trouble? Under the Start bot button there is the link Unsupported version or OT? Request support.

FieldWhat to enter
TypeAdd client version, Add/fix OT server or Other problem
OT server (host)Already filled with the selected OT's host, for example taleon.online

When you click Send, the request becomes a forum topic on the Pedidos de versão e OT (version and OT requests) board, with status aberto (open). The button changes to Open forum so you can follow the answer. The limit is 5 requests per day.
